The young Louth rebel, James Moore, has fled to Wicklow while his cousin, Laurence, recovers from his ordeal with the Wexford rebels. Meanwhile, in Meath, a lieutenant in the yeomanry questions his resolve at the bloodletting following the rebellion and makes an enemy in the process. About the Author:

 

I am a retired civil servant, originally from Termonfeckin in Co. Louth.  I have always had an interest in local history and co-founded the Termonfeckin Historical Society, as well as being a current council member of the Co.
