About the Book:

“Frank has provided a remarkable insight into the life of his Father, a small-hold farmer, through the War of Independence up to the 1970’s.  He delves into the wonderful, yet painful sacrifice, his Father made to enable Frank to enhance his life prospects. His story cannot fail to raise personal and emotional family memories for the reader.”

Liam Gardiner

“Frank's writing journey correlates with his father's journey through the 1950s - steadfast and determined. His tale is a poignant trip down memory lane for many of us.”

Jean O’Sullivan
